Green Building:
Green building promotes a design that is healthy for the builder and the inhabitants.
Green buildings use environmentally friendly products that are energy efficient, contain post consumer waste, nontoxic or are recyclable. Green building designs increase the efficiency with which they use and harvest energy, water and materials. To be a green building the entire life cycle of the home needs to be considered including removal. There are many options for green materials to put into your home a building. One needs to be careful when choosing a material. The term “GREEN” has become a buzz phrase and some manufactures use it freely. Though with a little research there are a lot of Green materials that are genuinely doing their part to reduce waste in the land fill, conserve energy and natural resources, and reduce or eliminate toxic chemicals.
Non -Toxic Renovations & Green Remodels:
This is the process in which you choose to use green building products and practices (nontoxic materials energy efficient designs) when renovating you home. It is more sustainable and environmentally friendly to renovate an older home than it is to build a new one.
